Tu Bishvat in Talpiot

A week has passed since Tu Bishvat, but the Talpiot neighborhood is still busy with flowering and planting actvities, and had decided to extend the holiday!

Last Wednesday, Talpiot's Bakehila community in cooperation with the Welfare Bureau of Baka-Talpiot and the neighborhood residents held a Tu Bishvat event for the community .

The children of Bakehila's Learning and Enrichment Center as well as others form the neighborhoood area, came together to plant, plough and weed the soil around the buildings, and plant flowers and other greens, chosen by the nieghborhood residents.

During the event there were activity stations where kids could play Tu Bishvat games, and everyone made "Grass Heads" to take home.
