Special Visitor: Annette Blum
Every year, Bakehila is privileged to receive a visit from long-time supporter and partner Annette Blum of the Blum Family Foundation. Annette is passionate about improving life opportunities for the Arab sector minority in Israel, and helped pioneer Bakehila's Arab Sector programming in 2009.
Today, Bakehila aids over 150 children and youth from 5 Arab villages in the Jerusalem area, focusing on their studies and personal development in order to create an improved future.
This year, Bakehila hosted Ms Blum at the Learning and Enrichment Center in Bet Safafa, where she enjoyed a tour of the ineractive studies and activities in which the children participate. The children were very excited to meet her!
In addition, Annette conducted a special video-interview with the Center's children and graduates, about the impact of the program on their studies and lives.
